We are looking for an organized, problem-solving team player to join our office staff. This is a Jack/Jill of All Office Trades position, and the person we hire needs to be flexible, alert, and adaptable. The job can be very fast-paced sometimes, and also pretty slow during slower seasons. Gem Air operations include both summer backcountry flying, as well as contracted cargo routes. The requirements for these positions are different, so please note which one you are qualified for and which you are applying for when sending your cover letter and resume.
Requirements for summer backcountry Pilots:
Required:Commercial license, SEL, MEL, 500+ hours total time, 25 hours of night.
Preferred: Part 135 experience, 800+hrs total time, backcountry flying experience, high performance experience.
**Note: Summer pilot positions for 2017 have been filled.**
Requirements for year-round cargo positions:
Required: Meet Part 135 IFR requirements, 1200hrs total time, 100hrs night, Commercial, SEL, MEL.
Preferred: Part 135 experience, turbine experience, MEL experience, IFR experience, 1500+ hours total time.
