Your pilot will point out landmarks and historical sites as you fly over an incredible landscape rich with gorgeous mountains, rivers, and valleys. When: Depart between 7 and 10am, return within 1-1.5 hours

Details: This hour+ scenic flight starts and ends in Salmon, Idaho. You’ll see the Continental Divide and Lemhi Valley from the air, and then head west towards the Frank Church Wilderness of No Return. Your pilot will point out all sorts of landmarks and areas of interest such as old mines, historical sites, high mountain lakes, and the Bighorn Crags. You’ll also get a look at two famous Wild and Scenic rivers- the Main Salmon and the Middle Fork of the Salmon.

Details:Take a scenic flight and get breakfast at the B-C Ranch (pronounced “B bar C”)near the edge of the Frank Church Wilderness of No Return. You’ll see the Continental Divide from the air and fly up the Lemhi Valley. Then, you’ll head southwest, cross the Main Salmon River Canyon, and follow Iron Creek up to Hat Creek Lakes. You’ll take a look at Sheephorn Lookout and Taylor Mountain, then follow Silver Creek down to your destination- the B-C ranch.
The staff at the B-C will cook you up a great ranch breakfast (they specialize in sourdough biscuits and pancakes!). You’ll then have a little time to walk off breakfast and explore.
Eventually, you’ll load back up in the plane and take to the air again, this time heading down Camas Creek to see the famous Middle Fork of the Salmon River in the heart of the Frank Church Wilderness. After following the river for a while, you’ll fly up Wilson Creek to check out the Big Horn Crags, and across the Salmon River Mountain range back to Salmon.

You’ll fly over historical mining locations, cross Panther Creek, and approach the Bighorn Crags to take a look at the many high mountain lakes there. You’ll cross back over to Williams Creek summit, and get a great view of Williams Lake as you descend back into the Salmon River valley.

Details: Take a scenic flight over an incredible portion of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area, and get breakfast at the historic Sulpher Creek Ranch. This is one of the longest-standing ranches in the Middle Fork drainage. To get there, your pilot will take you out over Williams Lake and the Salmon River Mountain Range before crossing Camas Creek, Loon Creek, and heading toward Sulpher Creek on the upper end of the Middle Fork of the Salmon. The staff at Sulpher Creek will provide you with a great breakfast, and you’ll have a chance to walk around their amazing grounds before loading back up for the return flight.

Restrictions: 2 person minimum. This pricing is restricted to these times, and is available only in July and August.
Details: Join us on a scenic flight to beautiful Stanley, Idaho, and catch views of country you just can’t see from the road. Your pilot will take you out over the Salmon River Mountain range, pointing out peaks and creeks, old mines and mountain ranges. Descend into the legendary Stanley basin, and land near the foot of the Sawtooth Mountains. The small mountain town of Stanley is a short walk from the airport. Spend the day taking advantage of the myriad of opportunities in Stanley, from eating at one of Stanley’s fine establishments to taking a day trip with a local rafting outfitter. Wrap up the day with a 5:00pm departure for your flight back to Salmon, which will re-trace the gorgeous flight from the morning.
